Q: Hi Alina.
A: Hi!

Q: Thanks for talking to us for a few minutes today.
A: Sure.  You are welcome.

Q: What are you up to?
A: Right in this moment?

Q: Yep.
A: I am unpacking some boxes.  I just moved.

Q: Where did you move to?
A: I have moved to a small apartment in the basement of the house of another family.

Q: Where were you living before?
A: I was living in the dormitories for the dancers in one of Moscow’s ballet companies. 

Q: You are a dancer?
A: Yes.  But I am no longer a part of the company anymore.

Q: So you had to move?
A: Yes.

Q: Why aren’t you dancing anymore? 
A: I love to dance but they are so strict and I wanted to be free.

Q: What did you want to do that you weren’t allowed to?
A: There was an early curfew so we could not go out at night to the clubs or on dates.  Also we were not allowed to have boys in the dorms so even if we met someone it was so hard to ever see them.  Plus they were so strict with out diets.  I understand that ballerinas must be small and light but I wanted to start enjoying my life.

Q: Of course.
A: I do not want anyone to think I am not grateful for the opportunity to dance for the company, and they took good care of us, but I think I lost my love for it, and it is too much time and pain and work if it is not something I am feeling very passionate for.

Q: So what will you do instead?
A: I have to find a job!

Q: Any ideas of what you will do?
A: I will have to find something quick so I will not be too picky about which job.

Q: This video is amazing.  Did you have a good time making it?
A: Yes. It was fun.  

Q: Did you enjoy doing the video with another girl?
A: It was fun and she is very pretty.  I am very comfortable with my body and with other women.  Dancers are always stretching and touching and running around naked.

this cameraman stewart summers has two naked girls before him and he does not know how to film them he is like a child, he can not keep the camara still, he gets too close, it is just not enjoyable.
